The Design and Implementation of Project-based Learning Based on STEM

In order to further improve the innovation ability, comprehensive ability and adaptability of mechanical engineering technicians, we need to integrate STEM education and artificial intelligence technology into the process of engineering talent training. Especially in the era of artificial intelligence, STEM education should be strengthened. Taking the course of mechanical precision design and detection as an example, this paper carries out project-based learning by establishing new scenes, setting up comprehensive projects, adopting a number of evaluation data-driven methods, and following the internal mechanism of observing phenomena-finding problems-asking problems-solving problems. The results show that STEM education effectively promotes project-based learning for learners in the mechanical field, and significantly improves learners academic performance and ability to solve complex problems.
