On the International Communication Talents Cultivation Mode under the Background of New Liberal Arts—Taking the “Advanced English” Course as an Example

当前世界多元化发展，中国对外交流合作急需具有国际视野和中国素养的高素质外语人才。作为英语专业标杆的《高级英语》课程，如何在建设新文科背景下有效融入理解世界的区域国别知识和培养中国素养的课程思政内容是一个亟待探讨的问题。传统《高级英语》课程在教学内容、教学方式、课堂互动和课程考核等方面存在严重不足，亟需提出适应时代需求的高级英语课程改革方案。Nowadays, wiisthe diversified development of the world, China’s foreign communication and cooperation are in urgent need of high-quality foreign language talents with an international vision and Chinese literacy. As a benchmark for English majors, how to effectively incorporate the regional and international knowledge to understand the world and the curriculum-based ideological and political education to cultivate Chinese literacy in the course of “Advanced English” under the background of building new liberal arts is an urgent issue to be explored. The traditional “Advanced English” course has serious deficiencies in terms of teaching content, teaching methods, classroom interaction and course assessment. A reform program of “Advanced English” course to meet the needs of the times needs to be explored.
