Application of Case-Based Pedagogy to the Teaching of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Pharmacogenomics

Through the introduction of real cases covering different drugs, patient groups and disease states, the application of case studies in the teaching process is demonstrated in detail. These cases were designed to stimulate students’ curiosity and motivation, and to guide them to better understand the methodology and importance of therapeutic drug monitoring and pharmacogenomics, thus enhancing their interest in learning and learning outcomes. This study demonstrates that the case teaching method is an effective teaching method in the teaching of therapeutic drug monitoring and pharmacogenomics, which lays a solid foundation for students’ future clinical practice.
