Advances in the Treatment of Vestibular Neuritis in Chinese and Western Medicine

Vestibular neuritis (VN) is a common neurological disorder, ranking third in the incidence of peripheral vertigo after otolithiasis and Meniere's disease, occurring at many ages and increasing in incidence, and often accompanied by acute vertigo, nausea and vomiting, and other autonomic symptoms, which seriously affects the quality of life of patients. The etiology and pathogenesis of VN are still unclear, and there is a lack of uniform and effective treatment options. This study summarizes the latest advances in the treatment of VN with Chinese and Western medicine, which will help clinicians better understand and select appropriate methods, and provide a reference for future research on the combination of Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of VN.
