Analysis of the Three-Dimensional Path of Legal Education in Middle School Ideological and Political Courses from the Perspective of “Holistic Education in Ideology and Politics”
Legal education is an important part of ideological and political education. Ideological and political theory courses are the main channels of ideological and political education and also the main battlefield of legal education. The concept of “Holistic Education in Ideology and Politics” was proposed at the 2021 National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. The release of the “Compulsory Education Curriculum Plan and Curriculum Standards (2022 Edition)” and the “Work Plan for Comprehensively Promoting the Construction of ‘Holistic Education in Ideology and Politics’” have provided important guidance for how current middle school ideological and political courses can carry out high-quality legal education under the perspective of “Holistic Education in Ideology and Politics”. In the practice of legal education in middle school ideological and political courses, it is necessary to make good use of the “Holistic Education in Ideology and Politics” to coordinate the collaborative educational effects of the small legal classroom within the school and the large legal classroom in society; balance the relationship between upholding the correct direction and innovation in the construction of legal courses; and grasp the dialectical unity of process evaluation and result assessment in the legal education process. Thus, it can promote the high-quality development of legal education in middle schools and help enhance students’ legal awareness and literacy.
