Brief Analysis of the Problems Faced by Hydraulic Fracturing of Water-Flooding Oil Wells in the Extra-High Water-Cut Stage of Block X and the Corresponding Solutions

Well fracturing is one of the important measures to increase the output of oil wells and is a widely used technical means for increasing and stabilizing production in oil fields. It has made significant contributions to slowing down the decline in production and improving the development effect. However, in recent years, with the progress of oil field development, the water cut in the block has been continuously rising, the remaining oil is distributed in a scattered manner, the fracturing effect has been deteriorating year by year, and the number of casing damage wells has been increasing year by year, with a high proportion of casing damage wells, resulting in a continuous reduction in potential fracturing wells and an increasing difficulty in well and layer selection for fracturing. This paper briefly describes the problems faced by well and layer selection for fracturing in X block after entering the ultra-high water cut period, as well as the corresponding solutions, and conducts a certain analysis and discussion on the well and layer selection problems of water-driven oil wells fracturing at the present stage.
