Astrophysical stellar solutions in non-minimally coupled gravity under Kohler–Chao–Tikekar and Tolman IV spacetimes

This study explores the behavior of compact astrophysical objects within the context of [Formula: see text] gravity. We develop gravitational field equations that account for the properties of anisotropic static interior fluid distribution. By applying two specific constraints, one on the radial function and another on pressure anisotropy, we obtain two distinct solutions to these intricate equations of motion. In both scenarios, we solve differential equations that introduce integration constants. The junction conditions are then applied to determine these constants. Furthermore, the condition that radial pressure must be zero at the hypersurface is also utilized in finding these constants. Afterward, we conduct a graphical evaluation of key constraints necessary to validate the model under different parametric choices. To achieve this, we incorporate observational data from the compact star 4U 1820-30. Our findings confirm that both models meet the essential requirements for a stellar solution to be viable and stable. Notably, this study deepens the comprehension of how this modified gravity affects the internal fluid dynamics of compact stars, providing critical insights for future investigations.
