Quality of life and functional status of patients referred for transcatheter edge-to-edge repair of severe tricuspid regurgitation: A single-center prospective observational study
Patients with severe TR present with high comorbidity burden, severe HF symptoms, and report low QoL. Higher age and low tricuspid annular plane systolic excursion/systolic pulmonary artery pressure are associated with worse 6MWD. Treatment with T-TEER is associated with a significant improvement of QoL and 6MWD at short-term follow-up.
