Polychrome Coenopopulations of Tulipa suaveolens Roth (Liliaceae): Structure of Morphological Variability and Vitality Structure
The paper considers the structure of morphological variability and vitality structure of polychrome coenopopulations of Tulipa suaveolens Roth (Liliaceae). Three coenopopulations of the species, confined to different plant communities, were studied in 2021 and 2022 during the period of active plant vegetation. The variability of 12 morphological traits was studied in plants that differed in perianth color. Individuals with a yellow tint of corolla petals had the highest trait values. They are followed by plants with red, pink and orange perianth. In the structure of morphological variability of T. suaveolens traits, most of the studied traits turned out to be in the group of ecological and biological systemic indicators. In polychrome coenopopulations of T. suaveolens, with an increase in the total amount of precipitation, the proportion of morphological traits included in the group of biological systemic indicators increased. In the polychrome population of T. suaveolens, growing in the central part of the Yergeni Upland, higher values of the IVC index were observed, which corresponds to favorable conditions for the realization of the potential of the species. The climatic conditions of 2021, with a large total amount of precipitation during the growing season of the species, contributed to an increase in the vitality of T. suaveolens coenopopulations. During the study of polychrome coenopopulations of T. suaveolens, it was found that they are characterized by the type of vitality “flourishing”.
