Research on In-Band Single-Frequency Interference Detection and Bit Error Rate Improvement Strategy for Gaussian-like Spectrum Signals

A strategy for single frequency interference detection and bit error rate improvement for Gaussian-like spectrum signals is proposed. The amplitude spectrum of the signal is subjected to wavelet low-frequency reconstruction to extract the envelope. Comparing the amplitude spectrum envelope with the original signal amplitude spectrum, we can see that high-frequency information such as noise and single-frequency interference is eliminated, achieving precise detection of low-power single-frequency interference. The detected frequency points are then used as the center frequencies of notch filters to suppress the interference, thereby improving the bit error rate. Simulation results show that this method can effectively detect in-band single-frequency interference in Gaussian-like spectrum signals and improve the bit error rate.
