AGRICULTURAL INSURANCE IS ONE OF THE MAIN CONDITIONS FOR THE SUSTAINABLE SPATIAL DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURE IN RUSSIA

Today, it is necessary to use factors of production that do not require significant costs, but are almost universally available and effective means for sustainable agriculture. Among them, the spatial development of the industry is largely capable of ensuring its sustainable development in almost every region of the country. It is most effective when the production of certain types of agricultural products is focused on the maximum compliance of natural conditions with the biological requirements and characteristics of the cultivation of each crop and the cultivation of a certain type of livestock and is supported by the use of an effective agricultural insurance system with state support. At the same time, it is important to ensure a balance of economic interests between a few insurance organizations and agricultural producers by improving the legislative and scientific support of agricultural insurance with state support. This will make it possible to achieve a certain balance between the economic losses of agricultural producers and the size of their compensation by the state, regardless of the degree of impact of negative weather and climatic anomalies on agriculture and its individual sub-sectors.
