FORMATION OF A SPECIALIZED INNOVATION ZONE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF DURUM WHEAT IN SARATOV REGION

With increasing sanctions pressure from the unfriendly countries of Asia and an expanded set of secondary sanctions instruments, the need to develop priority areas for a long-termport replacement and strengthening of Russia’s export position in the world market. In this context, it would be advisable to rationalize the spatial organization of agriculture through the establishment of specialized high-technology production zones for selected products to increase productivity, Improvement of the quality of the resulting products and reduction of costs on the basis of rational use of bioclimatic potential of territory and productive resources, active introduction and large-scale application of innovative technologies. The aim of the work was to develop a structure of the high-technology zone for the production of semolina durum wheat in the Left Bank Region of the Saratov Region. The location of the special production zones for durum wheat in the Saratov region is due to its biochemical potential, the needs of the culture, the border situation and the traditional specialization of the region, The presence of large capacities for grain processing, efficient interaction of production, processing and marketing systems, internal and external markets, a developed transport and logistics network. The authors used monographic and abstract-logical methods. As a result of the study, an organizational and economic structure of a specialized high-technology zone for the production of semolina durum wheat was proposed and justified, which determines the increase in production efficiency, product competitiveness and innovation potential of the industry on the basis of development of molecular-genetic work in the direction of improvement of master valuable traits of breeding material by means of establishment of a special seed zone, optimization and harmonization of scientific-industrial cooperation, convergence of interests of participating organizations through the creation of a coordination block, Ensuring the correlation of vector breeding research and current market needs by forming a Single Digital Platform, rapid introduction and development of innovative products and technologies due to incorporation of the scientific module.
