ECONOMIC JUSTIFICATION OF AN ALTERNATIVE TECHNOLOGY FOR GROWING CHICKPEAS IN THE VOLGOGRAD REGION
Currently, Russian agriculture is paying more and more attention to the factors of sustainable development, in particular energy-saving technologies and organic production. The results of growing many crops depend a lot on the chosen method of tillage. The technologies of minimal tillage (Mini-till or No-till), which exclude plowing and mechanical treatment before sowing, have become particularly relevant at present, which allows not only to reduce operating costs, but also to improve the condition of the soil, preventing its erosion. This article considers one of the options for the optimal replacement of agricultural machinery for chickpea cultivation in the Volgograd region, the "Volzhanin" variety on an area of 350 hectares, the predecessor of winter wheat. It is proposed to replace five separate operations: stubble peeling, plowing, cultivation, harrowing and sowing with fertilization with a single pass of the PK-11.4 Kuzbass-D mechanized complex, which sows high stubble on soils of high hardness with simultaneous application of mineral fertilizers and rolling. The PK-11.4 Kuzbass-D is aggregated with a tractor with a capacity of at least 350 hp, with a proven productivity of at least 9 ha/hour. Sowing is planned to be carried out together with the application of nitroamonophosky, which will reduce the dose of superphosphate before autumn plowing by 20%. Due to the savings in diesel fuel, labor costs, and reduction in depreciation charges, production costs were saved per 1 hectare of 3.5 thousand rubles, based on 1 t of harvested products, 198 rubles. or 13%.
