Smart Energy Management Strategies for Electric Vehicles
The objective of this undertaking was to build a Smart Energy Management System (EMS) for electric cars (EVs) powered by solar and wind energy. An AC/DC converter is used to convert wind power from AC to DC, while solar energy is buffered by a capacitor that conducts electricity. By balancing both sources, a DC/DC converter produces quality DC power throughout applications in automobiles. Two devices' states of charge (SOC) and power distribution are regulated by a microprocessor. A relay mechanism enables an effortless transition between batteries and chargers based on how much energy they use. The stabilized power can be utilized to drive a brushless (BLDC) motor. The system's usage in renewable energy optimizes the utilization of energy, minimizes its need on petroleum and natural gas, and allows for continuous operation. This coordination enhances vehicle performance, expands driving range, and improves kinder to the environment vehicle transportation.
