IOT Based Smart Weather Monitoring System

This paper introduces an innovative IoT-based Smart Weather Monitoring System designed to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of weather forecasting while incorporating multiple meteorological sensors. The suggested method makes use of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to establish a thorough and up-to-date network for weather monitoring. Weather sensors and data processing units are essential parts that work together seamlessly to offer a reliable solution for meteorological observations. A variety of sensors are used by the weather monitoring system to record live meteorological data, including temperature, humidity, flow level and distance. These sensors are positioned in several key positions to guarantee that the monitored area is fully covered. IoT-enabled communication protocols are then used to send the gathered data to an open-source cloud platform, enabling quick and effective data transfer. The incorporation of an alerting system, which can identify and notify users of occurrences of possible floods, is a unique feature of this system. By giving authorities and people early notice of impending floods, this innovative feature increases the system's usefulness by enabling them to take preventative action and lessen the effects of such calamities. As a result, precise weather forecasts, trend analysis, and early alerts for impending floods can be produced. Through web or mobile applications, stakeholders-including meteorologists, emergency responders, and the general public-can obtain pertinent and timely information due to the system's easy-to-use interface.
