Optimization of Location Selection and Capacity Allocation for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Based on Genetic Algorithm
With the popularization of electric vehicles, the construction of charging infrastructure has become the key to supporting their development. This paper proposes an optimization method for the location and capacity - configuration of electric vehicle charging stations based on the genetic algorithm (GA), aiming to solve the multi - objective optimization problem among charging station location, capacity configuration, and user allocation. By constructing a fitness function, the genetic algorithm is adopted to optimize the construction and operation costs of charging stations, as well as user commuting costs. Eventually, the optimal scheme for charging station location and capacity configuration is obtained. Experimental results demonstrate that the genetic algorithm can effectively reduce the total cost and provide a reasonable construction plan for charging stations.
