Stable Region Partition of Direct-Drive Wind Power System Considering Parameter Uncertainty
The inherent variability of natural conditions introduces significant randomness in the output of wind power systems, making it difficult to accurately forecast power generation in advance. This uncertainty poses challenges to the stability and operation of the entire power system. To address these challenges, this study presents a method for partitioning the stable region that considers parameter uncertainty. Initially, a dynamic model for the integration of the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) system is formulated. A perturbation model is then developed to capture the influence of parameter uncertainties on the system's stability. Through simulation analysis of both the PMSG and its integrated system, it is observed that uncertainty in parameters results in changes to the system's bifurcation characteristics, which in turn affect the stable region. By constructing the perturbation model and forecasting the stable region, this approach proves crucial in maintaining the system's reliable and stable performance, ensuring optimal integration of wind power into the grid while mitigating potential risks.
