Optimization Strategy for the Configuration of Air Conditioning Energy Storage Tanks in High-Proportion Photovoltaic Distribution Networks
Energy storage plays a crucial role in improving voltage quality and reducing grid losses. However, due to the high cost of electrochemical energy storage, it has not been widely implemented in high-penetration photovoltaic distribution networks. This paper proposes an optimization strategy for the configuration of air-conditioning energy storage tanks in high-penetration photovoltaic distribution networks to address this issue. This strategy aims to achieve the economic optimization of air-conditioning operation and reduce grid losses through the use of low-cost thermal energy storage. First, a configuration model for the air-conditioning energy storage tank is developed with the objective of minimizing grid losses and operational costs. Then, considering constraints such as power flow, voltage, and energy storage capacity, an optimization method for the operation of air-conditioning systems with energy storage tanks is proposed. Finally, an improved genetic algorithm is employed to solve the problem. Simulation results validate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed strategy.
