Research on the Multi-Mechanism Coordinated Conduction Path of Shared Energy Storage in Different Stages
Under the dual-carbon targets, the construction of a new power system dominated by renewable energy generation requires extensive flexible resources to ensure reliable operation. Large-scale shared energy storage provides essential services such as peak shaving and frequency regulation, playing a crucial regulatory role. However, relying solely on peak-valley price differentials to recover energy revenue is insufficient to cover investment and construction costs, which has become a major obstacle to large-scale shared energy storage development. Therefore, this paper proposes a multi-mechanism coordinated conduction path for shared energy storage in different stages. Firstly, the cost conduction mechanisms of shared energy storage are analyzed based on capacity pricing and time-of-use pricing. Then, considering the actual development of shared energy storage in China, the capacity cost recovery mechanism and time-of-use pricing mechanism are coordinated to design a multi-mechanism-based cost conduction mechanism for shared energy storage. Finally, cost conduction paths for shared energy storage in the short, medium, and long term are explored for China's future development.
