HarmonyAI: A Collaborative Music Composition Tool Using Generative Adversarial Networks,Variational Auto Encoder, and Retrieval Augmented Generation
The music industry has made notable strides in AI-driven composition using techniques like Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) for creating diverse genres and Variational Autoencoders (VAEs) for style-based recommendations. However, current systems often lack the ability to facilitate real-time collaboration and personalized interaction between musicians and AI, limiting dynamic and context-aware music creation. To address these aforementioned challenges, the proposed system provides a comprehensive AI-driven system that employs Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to enable real-time music composition by retrieving and generating contextually relevant musical patterns. This ensures fewer conflicts and that the text is more consistent, which can massively increase the readability of generated texts. Enhanced with Conversational AI, the system allows musicians to interact with the AI in natural language, making co-creation intuitive and seamless. Additionally, Real-Time MIDI Processing algorithms are implemented for dynamic composition adjustments, giving musicians the flexibility to refine their work instantly. The system also incorporates collaborative filtering to offer personalized AI-generated suggestions, ensuring the AI evolves with the musician's preferences over time. This integrated approach not only improves the AI's responsiveness and relevance but also fosters a more natural and collaborative relationship between AI and human creators. The outcome is a powerful tool that enhances creativity, enabling richer and more diverse musical outputs, and advancing the potential of AI in the music industry
