Data-Driven Voltage Stability Assessment for Power Systems with Renewable Energy Integration
This paper proposes a static voltage assessment index system based on natural perturbations, leveraging the Wide Area Measurement System (WAMS) and building upon the mathematically rigorous foundations of reactive power-voltage sensitivity and bifurcation theory. Reactive power-voltage sensitivity is calculated using least squares fitting, and a weighted average algorithm is applied to statistically analyze sensitivity results over time, enhancing the accuracy and reliability of the fitted sensitivities. An IEEE benchmark system incorporating a wind farm is implemented in a numerical simulation platform. Time-domain simulations generate synchronized response data, allowing for comparison of sensitivity fitting results with actual reactive power margin under various operating conditions, thus validating the effectiveness of the proposed static voltage security assessment method.
