Study on Stability Characteristics of Wind-PV-Thermal-Bundled DC Power Transmission System
Wind-PV-thermal-bundled (WPTB) DC power transmission mode is a critical solution to transmit power for renewable energy generation bases. However, the interaction among different energy forms may impact the operation of the DC transmission system. To this end, this paper investigates the stability characteristics of the WPTB DC power transmission system. First, the system model of the wind-PV-thermal-bundled DC power transmission system is established. On this basis, the impact of the WPTB system on the DC power transmission system is analyzed, including the different power generation capacities and power transmission proportions. The analysis results reveal that an increase in DC transmission power results in deteriorated dynamic stability of the AC/DC coupled system and variations in the proportion of wind, PV, and thermal power have no significant impact on the stability.
