An Adaptive Localization Algorithm Integrating Reporting Probability and Positional Information

Aiming at reducing the adverse impact of FTU reporting distortion on the fault location accuracy of the main station, a fault location algorithm based on FTU reporting probability and positional information is proposed. Firstly, FTU reporting probability based on numerical prediction is compared by fault information matrix to obtain node probability matrix. Then, by weighting the number of upstream and downstream reported information of potential fault section to node probability matrix elements, the influence factor matrix reflecting the fault probability of potential fault section is constructed. Then, the candidate section alignment is optimized by using the established section positioning accuracy index and the distortion information quantity test. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve high positioning accuracy for both fixed and dynamic reporting probabilities by selecting the number of candidate sections properly under the influence of limited distortion information.
