A Novel Parallel Coupled Inductor Boost Converter for Low-Power Photo-Voltaic, (PV) Harvesting
The solar power harvesting has been the subject of extensive research for clean energy purposes. The boost converter is the main component of any power harvest. This paper proposes a novel parallel coupled inductor boost converter to improve the functionality of low power solar harvesting. It introduces a novel converter with double-coupled inductors for low power Photo-Voltaic <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\boldsymbol{(PV)}$</tex> applications. It operates with higher voltage gains and efficiency concurrently at reduced solar irradiation.
