Application of Hydrogen Energy Storage in AC/DC Hybrid Microgrid with Fuzzy Logic Control
Hydrogen energy is a clean, environmentally friendly, and low-carbon resource that plays a crucial role in the decarbonization of energy and the transition to a low-carbon economy. By harnessing renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power to produce hydrogen, we can convert surplus electricity into hydrogen for later storage. This stored hydrogen can subsequently be converted back into electricity using fuel cells or other technologies, allowing for flexible power regulation. By employing a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC), the power distribution among various system modules can be effectively and intelligently managed, ensuring coordinated operation under dynamic conditions. This paper presents a model of an AC/DC microgrid that, when connected to the main grid, is capable of utilizing the main grid for power balance and improving power quality support.
