Co-Optimized Operation of Multi-Integrated Energy Microgrids-Shared Energy Storage Plants Based on Mixed Game Theory

This paper investigates the collaborative managem-ent of multiple integrated energy microgrid (IEM) systems leasing shared energy storage (SES) to form a microgrid alliance. Firstly, an energy trading framework between energy operators and the IEM alliance with SES is constructed, analyzing the game relationship between them. Secondly, by combining leader-follower game and cooperative game theories, a hybrid game optimization model is established. In this model, the energy operator acts as the leader, aiming to maximize its own benefits by setting electricity and heat prices to guide the operation optimization of the IEM alliance with SES. The microgrid alliance, as the follower, aims to maximize its own benefits and responds to the decisions of the energy operator through cooperation. To ensure fair distribution of cooperative benefits among alliance members, a nonlinear energy mapping function is proposed to quantify the contributions of each participant, leading to an asymmetric bargaining method. Each microgrid uses its energy contribution in the cooperation as its bargaining power to achieve a fair distribution of cooperative benefits. The results indicate that the proposed model maximizes the benefits of the IEM alliance with SES, and the cooperative benefits of the microgrid alliance are fairly distributed based on the energy contributions of each microgrid.
