Control Strategy for Reactive Power Distribution and Voltage Regulation of Multi-Converters Based on Consensus Algorithm
With the development of power electronics, more and more distributed power sources (DGs) are connected to microgrids. The traditional high-voltage transmission network is inductive, while the low-voltage distribution network is generally resistive-inductive, and with the lower the voltage level of the distribution network, the larger the line R/X, so that the coupling relationship between active and reactive power cannot be avoided. Due to differences in feeder impedance and other factors in microgrids, conventional Virtual Synchronous Generator (VSG) control struggles to achieve accurate reactive power distribution based on reactive power capacity. This paper investigates adaptive virtual impedance. First, it analyzes the issue of uneven reactive power distribution in droop control within microgrids. Then, an adaptive virtual impedance-based reactive power coordination method is proposed to address this issue. Voltage secondary regulation is studied to mitigate voltage drops caused by feeder impedance and virtual impedance. Finally, simulations the proposed control strategy effectively resolves the problems of uneven reactive power distribution and voltage drops in multi-converter systems.
