Optimized Scheduling of Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) and Coordinated Management with Diverse Energy Resources
This paper introduces an integrated energy management solution, which aims to achieve the coordinated operation of various power generation resources within the framework of a virtual power plant. Based on user demands, grid electricity prices, and the charging and discharging behaviors of energy storage systems and electric vehicles, a mathematical model has been developed in this paper to optimize the dispatching, with the main objective of minimizing the operating costs. The model incorporates constraints related to electric vehicle charging/discharging, energy storage power scheduling, load shedding strategies, and micro gas turbine power scheduling. Numerical simulations are employed to determine the optimal energy sharing and power dispatch strategies, demonstrating that the proposed strategy significantly reduces operational costs and enhances energy efficiency in the power system.
