Research on Parameter Tuning of Adaptive Luenberger Sensorless Vector Control for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor
The electronic water pump, with its compact, efficient, and stable features, is a core part of automotive thermal management. Current mainstream solutions use PMSM vector control to regulate its cooling flow rate. Sensorless vector control boosts system reliability in harsh conditions but needs precise rotor position estimation. The Luenberger observer offers high accuracy and good dynamics, yet its gain parameters are often set by trial - and - error under typical conditions. Large - range dynamic motor speed changes cause model mismatch and reduced accuracy. To meet the electronic water pump's large - range dynamic speed - regulation demand, this paper presents a PMSM vector control method with an adaptive Luenberger observer for parameter self - tuning.
