Direct Current Circuit Breakage Monitoring Method for Substation Protection Devices Based on Smart IoT System
With the digital transformation of power systems, the monitoring and management of substations face new challenges. This paper proposes a direct current circuit breakage monitoring method for substation protection devices based on the smart IoT system, aiming to enhance the accuracy and real-time performance of monitoring. By employing innovative current and temperature monitoring technologies, combined with edge computing, the method can effectively identify and locate break points in direct current circuits, improving the safety and reliability of substations. Combined with the four designated relay protection device coverage sections, the abnormal instructions are introduced in sequence, and the final monitoring frequency can reach 155 Hz, indicating that the real-time monitoring method of the operating status of the relay protection device designed this time is reliable and stable.
