Research on the Operation Mechanism and Clearing Model of Spot Electricity Market in Receiving Provinces of Power System
In recent years, the construction of China's electricity spot market has been rapid, and a price mechanism that can reflect real-time supply and demand has been initially established, effectively guiding the optimization of electricity resource allocation. According to the energy supply and demand situation of the power system, the market provinces can be divided into sending provinces and receiving provinces, and the market mechanisms of the two provinces exhibit differentiation characteristics. Among them, the demand for electricity in the receiving provinces is large and highly volatile, requiring cross provincial transmission and flexible resource adjustment to meet the demand. It is urgent to conduct targeted research on their market mechanisms and clearing models. This article first selects four typical recipient provinces and compares and analyzes their similarities and differences in market rules from the aspects of market entities, transaction processes, information declaration, and clearance models. On this basis, construct an optimized clearing model for the current electricity spot market. Finally, based on the IEEE 5-node system, a case study is conducted to summarize the spot market patterns of recipient provinces and propose policy recommendations, and policy recommendations are proposed.
