Research on Frequency Modulation of Grid connected Photovoltaic Power Generation System
In the global energy transition, photovoltaic power generation systems have become the core low-carbon energy form with their multidimensional advantages. However, photovoltaic power generation systems have unique operating characteristics compared to traditional power generation methods: due to the lack of rotating components providing inertial support, they lack direct inertial coupling with the power grid; The maximum power tracking control strategy is usually adopted, which does not directly participate in grid frequency regulation and is significantly affected by environmental factors such as lighting and temperature. The power generation has intermittency and volatility. With the popularization of photovoltaic power generation, active power shortage is prone to occur when the generated power does not match the load, causing frequency deviation, which may reduce the operational performance of the power system and even threaten system stability. Therefore, through the study of power generation frequency, the balance relationship between power generation and load can be understood, and it is necessary to research the method of grid connected frequency regulation for photovoltaic power generation systems.
