Using Virtual Instrumentation for the Study of DC-DC Converters
Rapid changes in technology create difficulties for poorer schools, which cannot acquire modern equipment at the pace necessary to provide adequate training to the current requirements of employers. This work offers a possibility to modernize the study of classic electronic circuits available to these schools using the modern educational facilities offered by virtual instrumentation. The LabView was used to create a complete computer-controlled system with which a configurable boost dc-dc converter can be studied. With such a virtual system, experimental results can be obtained in digital format, easy to use and suitable for remote use through the use of a server-client application.
