Transient Stability Analysis Method of Wind Power System Considering Homoclinic Bifurcation
Whether the system can restore its stability after a fault is closely related to the system attraction domain after the fault. The occurrence of homoclinic bifurcation will lead to a sudden change in the size of the attraction domain, which will in turn affect the transient stability. Therefore, this paper proposes a transient stability analysis method considering homoclinic bifurcation. First, the influence of homoclinic bifurcation on the attraction domain of the system is studied through manifold analysis. A detection method for homoclinic bifurcation is proposed based on the Melnikov method. Then, a new energy power system model based on wind power generation system is constructed. The influence of homoclinic bifurcation on the attraction domain of the system is located and studied. Finally, a comprehensive bifurcation diagram with a limit cycle change trend of the system is drawn. The bifurcation diagram intuitively shows the changes in the attraction domain of the system caused by homoclinic bifurcation under parameter changes. This method can help to quickly detect the parameter conditions for the occurrence of homoclinic bifurcation, and then be used to determine the attraction domain range and transient stability limit of the system.
