Interleaved Parallel Soft Switching Bidirectional DC/DC Converter for Electric Vehicles
The bidirectional DC/DC converter is an essential component of new energy vehicles. This paper studies the working principle and control strategy of a dual half-bridge bidirectional DC/DC converter. A soft-switching technique is employed without adding extra semiconductor devices, effectively reducing switching losses. Additionally, a two-phase interleaved topology is selected to mitigate the disadvantages of large output voltage and current ripples. Finally, by adopting a control strategy that utilizes two inner current loops and a shared outer voltage loop, the converter is verified to achieve stable bidirectional energy flow control, featuring zero-voltage and zero-current switching, as well as low output voltage and current ripples.
