High-Isolation Dual-Port Self-Diplexing Antenna for C and X-Band Applications
A Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW)-based Self-Diplexing Antenna (SDA) whose frequencies are also tunable, has been created and suggested. The model's top plane has a modified ellipse slot and a rectangular slot as well and are fed by two different microstrip feedlines to radiate at various frequencies of resonance each. The proposed antenna's frequency flexibility enables fine-tuning at any resonance frequency. The simulation results show that the proposed antenna can be set up to function in the 4.28 GHz and 8.1 GHz frequencies, with gain 4.1 dB and 4.3 dB respectively. The suggested SDA is appropriate for mobile communication devices due to its competitive qualities, such as high isolation and small size.
