AI-Driven Smart Pill Dispenser with ESP32 for Adaptive Scheduling and Remote Monitoring
Medication nonadherence poses a major challenge in healthcare, resulting in negative patient outcomes and added costs. This paper presents an IoT-based smart medication management system that incorporates adaptive scheduling, remote monitoring, and AI-predicted adherence. The system leverages real-time biosensor data to adjust medication schedules dynamically based on patient-specific parameters. Remote monitoring enables caregivers to monitor compliance and issue alerts for forgotten doses, allowing timely interventions. A cost-efficient and modular dispenser design maximizes usability and accessibility. AI platforms review patient behavior to predict habits of adherence, optimizing the timing of medication for better effectiveness. Through facilitating convenient communication between healthcare providers and caregivers, the system seeks to maximize medication adherence, enhance patient outcomes, and enable proactive healthcare management.
