Improving Efficiency in Machine Learning: A Deep Dive into Optimization, Data Handling, and Hardware Utilization

Learning machines (ML) have assumed into modern technological changes but have certain comments and a glaring inefficiency about it. In the pursuit of a powerful ambiguity which the modelling of the ML has given rise to many converged into a factory of deployable forms and hence consume the implicit computational value. Efficiently programmed linguistic models help one in real-world applications, specifically where the computational resources are otherwise limited. The paper will further poke around different schemes to increase the efficiency of ML under four purposes: algorithmic optimization, data efficiency, computational resource management, and hardware utilization. Techniques, such as model pruning, quantization, knowledge distillation, transfer learning, active learning, distributed training, and specialized hardware accelerators, are analysed during this study. Our research synthesizes existing work and puts forward an integrated structure that spans those strategies, thereby reducing computational overhead while assuring model performance. Evaluation on common data sets reflects the effectiveness of our structured design and its efficaciousness in improving the perfunctory value during both training and inference phases.
