Quantitative Evaluation Method for Improving the Section Transmission Capacity Considering Embedded DC Access
This study develops a quantitative assessment methodology to determine the total transmission capability of AC/DC hybrid power systems with embedded DC links. The proposed approach systematically integrates critical operational constraints including equipment capacities, stability boundaries, and contingency response characteristics. By analyzing power flow sensitivity characteristics and employing line outage distribution factors under contingency conditions, the method enables precise evaluation of system-wide transmission capacity. Furthermore, an adaptive power distribution control strategy is formulated to maintain grid operational stability, featuring automatic DC power adjustment mechanisms that respond to operational mode variations and post-fault scenarios. The control scheme integrates seamlessly with existing grid management requirements. Finally, smulation tests conducted on practical power network models demonstrate the technical validity and operational effectiveness of both the evaluation methodology and control strategy.
