Design and Simulation of Elliptic Curve Scalar Multiplication in FPGA Using Vivado
The project aims to provide cloud communication with a much faster, secure and efficient manner using FPGA based ECC( Elliptic curve cryptography). Precise evidence of security and confidentiality for cloud computing, such as digital signatures, key exchange and encryption. However, traditional software-based cryptography methods have some universal problems with high latency and high resource usage. In this work, we recommend exploiting FPGA technology to alleviate these problems and deeply accelerate the encryption, decryption and signature ofsfthe ECC operations. ECC algorithms such as ECDH (for key exchange), ECIES (for encryption and decryption) and ECDSA (for digital signatures) are implemented utilizing the thread level parallelism of FPGA devices. PCIe or Ethernet-based high-speed connections are incorporated in order to integrate the FPGA-based ECC solution with cloud applications, ensuring seamless communication between the FPGA and cloud servers. The proposed architecture is examined for scalability and performance in real-time cloud settings, ensuring high throughput, low-latency tasks while maintaining robust and stringent security policies. The FPGA implementation provides a scalable approach to large-scale cloud infrastructures, thereby contributing to the efficiency of secure cloud communication. This combination offers improved data integrity and confidentiality protection together with greater computational efficiency, and it is expected to enable cloud-based applications to talk securely and rapidly.
