Analysis of Wide Slip Characteristics of High Inertia Energy Storage Doubly-Fed Condenser
In the context of the new power system, the proportion of new energy sources is on the rise, the problems related to inertia and frequency have become prominent, and the high inertia synchronous condenser has been vigorously developed. As a new type of power equipment, high inertia storage doubly-fed condenser has the characteristic of wide slip operation. This paper conducts modeling and analysis of its wide slip characteristics. First, the time domain model and the corresponding frequency domain model are established respectively, and their consistency is verified. Then the frequency domain model is used to analyze the wide slip operation characteristics, and it is found that it has better stability at higher speeds, and the optimal speed range is given based on actual motor parameters. Finally, the participation factor and parameter sensitivity are calculated under low-speed conditions, and it is concluded that increasing the proportional coefficient of the current inner loop enables the enhancement of the system's stability within a specific range.
