Panoramic Surveillance and Monitoring Rover with Web- Based Control System (PSMR-WBCS)
The project is to design a highly flexible and remote-controlled monitoring rover over Wi-Fi using a microcontroller of the Raspberry Pi type and customized for industrial monitoring and security applications. The rover will be equipped with a 180° rotation camera module mounted on a servo motor, which will provide panoramic video surveillance. There will be an accompanying user-friendly web interface which will serve as a control panel to drive the rover. This will offer real-time video streaming. Users can drive and remotely control every facet of the rover straight from the webpage with sleek, intuitive driving. The system will be expanded through an ultrasonic sensor so as to fetch distances from obstacles or monitor the distance traveled. Such data will be displayed in a dynamic fashion relative to the web interface, and thus real-time situational awareness will be obtained to aid in identification of obstacles and wayfinding. With a modular architecture, this system is able to were fitted with industrial-appropriate sensors such as gas or thermal sensors as attempts to enhance monitor. It is targeted at build an inexpensive, multi-purpose, and highly durable solution for environmental and remote monitoring. Manufacturing, logistics, and security industries' short-term requirements are fulfilled in this project. The simplicity of use will be provided by the combination of live streaming, sensor data visualization, and control using one webpage that will make the rover an all-purpose industrial tool.
