Two-Stage Optimization Scheduling Method for Compressed Air Energy Storage Considering Frequency Deviation and Voltage Stability Constraints
Advanced Adiabatic Compressed Air Energy Storage (AA-CAES), a large-scale physical energy storage technology, has been widely applied in scenarios like renewable energy integration. To further exploit the potential of AA-CAES, this paper proposes a two-stage optimization scheduling strategy that considers both frequency deviation and voltage stability constraints. First, an AA-CAES dispatch model is established by comprehensively considering its structural composition and multi-mode operational characteristics. Second, the uncertainty of renewable energy output is characterized through a fusion of physical and statistical information. Finally, tests conducted on the IEEE-30 system demonstrate that strategically switching between different operating modes of AA-CAES can enhance system frequency and voltage stability while maintaining economic efficiency.
