Multi-Objective Optimization of Flexible Phase-Shifting Interconnections in Medium-Voltage Distribution Networks Considering Source-Load Fluctuations
This paper focuses on the problems of improving the flexibility and optimizing the interconnection of medium-voltage(MV) active distribution networks with stochastic power sources and load. It describes the basic architecture of flexible shifted interconnections in MV active distribution networks and constructs a multi-objective function aiming to comprehensively improve the feeder performance. Power balance and network losses in MV distribution networks are tackled through the construction of a multi-objective two-layer optimization framework for flexible shifted interconnections in MV feeders. A nested Bayesian bi-level optimization algorithm is developed. It considers the parameters of the flexible phase-shifting device and aims at optimizing the installation location. The effectiveness of the research results is verified through a case study of a domestic medium-voltage distribution network.
