Analysis of SS and LCC-S Compensation Circuits for Enhanced Charging Performance in Electric Vehicles

The adoption of electric vehicles over traditional gasoline-powered cars is rapidly increasing. Dynamic wireless charging (DWC) is a promising technology that allows continuous battery charging while the vehicle is in motion, thereby enhancing the charging infrastructure. A major challenge lies in investigating the power transfer capacity of the DWC system under varying operating conditions to achieve higher efficiency. This study presents an innovative approach to improving the performance of dynamic wireless charging systems. By employing SS (Series-Series) and LCC-S (L-Series Capacitor-Series Capacitor) compensation techniques. This technique will improve efficiency and stability of power transfer in dynamic wireless charging systems.
