Real-Time Environmental Impact Analysis on Optical Fiber Networks Using IoT and AI
The reliability of optical fiber networks is significantly affected by environmental factors, such as temperature fluctuations, humidity, and external physical disruptions. This paper proposes an innovative IoT-based framework integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) to monitor, analyse, and mitigate environmental impacts on optical fiber networks in real-time. By leveraging IoT sensors for data collection and AI models for anomaly detection, the proposed system offers actionable insights to minimize downtime and improve network resilience. This approach not only ensures uninterrupted network performance but also facilitates proactive maintenance strategies.
