Design and Experimentation of an Adaptive Dampin Controller for Wind Turinbie Subsynchronous Resonance Based on Contoller Hardware-In-Loop
The subsynchronous resonance (SSR) caused by the connection between the series complement and doubly fed induction generator(DFIG) is one of the important factors restricting the large-scale consumption of wind power. In order to analyze the problem and provide the basis for the suppression measures, this paper establishes a doubly-fed wind turbine model for subsynchronous oscillation analysis, and uses time-domain simulation to analyze and validate the effects of wind speed, the number of WTGs and the degree of string supplementation on the SSR: the decrease of wind speed, the decrease of number of WTGs, and the increase of the degree of string supplementation increase the risk of oscillation, and the wind speed and the degree of string supplementation increase the risk of oscillation. Moreover, an adaptive damping controller(ADC) is researched for the resonance problem of this system.and the SSR is suppressed by inj ecting the current calculated by feedback through SVG, and the effectiveness of the control strategy and device is successfully verified with the help of controller hardware in loop (CHIL) carried out on the Real Time Laboratory (RT-LAB).
