An efficient tuned Networked Control System

This research aims to improve the efficacy of a second-order networked control system (NCS) plant by integrating a whale optimization algorithm (WOA) with a fuzzy-PID controller. A distributed closed-loop feedback control system is the most basic form of a networked control system, comprising a collection of sensors, controllers, and actuators. The network components of NCS, whether continuous or dynamic, such as elevated latency and packet loss, remain unidentified. The current circumstances primarily derive from the exponential advancement in the sophistication of inspection and control systems, attributed to the proliferation of communication networks. Measures must be enacted to alleviate the impacts of communication network disruptions on control systems. A thorough analysis has shown numerous controller development methodologies. Initiatives are in progress to improve the efficacy of the NCS system and mitigate the effects of network-wide stochastic delays. Two separate operational scenarios for a second-order NCS plant will be utilized to assess the suggested enhancements: one with a random delay condition and the other without. The effectiveness of the suggested method’s closed-loop performance is assessed relative to that of a conventional PID controller. The outcomes for the two NCS plant scenarios demonstrate that the proposed effort is effective for closed-loop performance.
