Construction and Analysis of the Electromechanical-Electromagnetic Simulation Model for the North China Region with Multiple DC Connections Based on ADPSS

This paper aims to construct and analyze the electromechanical-electromagnetic transient simulation model of the North China Power Grid with multiple DC connections during the “15th Five-Year Plan” period. With the expansion of the scale of converter stations at the receiving end of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei power grid and the extensive integration of power electronic components in new energy generation systems, the complexity of the power grid system has significantly increased. Utilizing the ADPSS(Advanced Digital Power System Simulator) software, this paper constructs the electromechanical-electromagnetic transient simulation model of a typical large- area receiving-end power grid system with multiple DC(Direct Current) connections and conducts simulation tests. The research results indicate that the constructed model can effectively simulate the dynamic behavior of the power grid, providing important technical support for grid planning and operation.
