Analysis of Hydropower Access Pumping and Storage Based on NSGA-II Algorithm
In order to solve the problem of high water resource utilization rate caused by large water abandonment in the wet season and insufficient power generation in the dry season of hydropower stations in some regions, an optimal scheduling strategy based on the coordinated operation of pumped storage units was proposed. By constructing a mathematical model with the maximization of power generation benefit as the objective function, and taking the water balance and power generation stability as the constraints, the NSGA-II algorithm is used to solve the multi-objective optimization. Using the case calculation simulation, the comprehensive power generation income can be increased by 2.5%-3.0% after adding pumped storage, significantly reduce the water curtailment rate and enhance the stability of system operation, and realize the intensive utilization of regional water resources.
